The 2017 Burgundy Greats Are Landing Soon
WineBank has purchased small lots of red Burgundy Grand Crus from the great Domaine Faiveley.
We are opening them up for collectors at this time.
The 2017 Burgundies are sensational wines, and Faiveley - with the largest holdings in the region - is in the unique position of enjoying a wide-range of source selection.
Faiveley is different now, the reigns were passed again to Erwan Faiveley in time for the 2006 vintage. But Mr. Faiveley claims that the style has changed considerably.
We agree. The wines were wonderful before, showcasing power and depth. Hard to believe that they have improved dramatically, but they have.
The power has not been sacrificed per se. Mr. Faiveley has steered that power in a clear-note, focused direction; there is a mantle of nobility now, one that will reward as the wines mature.
Below is a listing of the Grand Cru wines available.
The estimated landing time is early to mid-fall. Subject to availability.
You’ll see more stellar reviews when the wines land.
