An outgoing bouquet of copious red cherry and crushed strawberry aromas laced with cassis. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and quite robust in the mouth.

A more subtle though hardly invisible application of wood surrounds aromas of red and dark raspberry, violet, rose petal and menthol nuances. Here too there is a lovely sense of verve and detail to the solidly stony larger-scaled flavors that, in much the same fashion as the Taillepieds, conclude in a chiseled and admirably persistent finish.
