This has aged beautifully and the nose, while still relatively youthful, is now perfumed and expressive with a bit more roundness to the still notably precise and muscular flavors that remain understated and completely in harmony on the gorgeously long finish. As with the same wine in 750 ml, this is one of those wines where all you can say is "WOW". For my taste, this has arrived at a stage where it could be drunk with a huge amount of pleasure or held for another five years first in this format. In a word, brilliant.
