Tasting Notes
Bright lemon-yellow color. Orange peel, spices and mint on the rather restrained nose. Very fat, rich and dense but light on its feet. A strong peachy flavor is enlivened by nervy acidity. Intriguingly tactile Chardonnay that's quite unevolved today but is extremely promising. My Burgundy light went on as soon as I put this in my mouth.

Deep, rich and concentrated, with a complex range of ripe pear, citrus, fresh earth, herb and sage flavors that are well-focused and persistent, leading to a long, supple, harmonious aftertaste.
James Laube, Wine Spectator.
Aromas of baked apple, olive oil and dried rosemary. Medium-to full-bodied. The salinity here balances really well with the nutty and citrus character. Savory and long. Refreshing tannins at the finish make you want to go back for more. Chewy, but the tannins melt into the wine. One of the best wines from Hudson ever.
