Tasting Notes

Elegant and silky, with the classic minerality, honeyed citrus, orange blossom and licorice characteristics these wines always show at maturity. Medium to full-bodied, balanced, and seamless, it still has plenty of mid-palate depth.

Jeb Dunnock, Wine Advocate.

Super chalky nose with peach blossom and orange blossom leading to peach, orange citrus and orange peel flavors. This still has a little of the flesh and puppy fat on the palate. Still building. Extremely complex and very powerful.

James Suckling, jamessuckling.com

This is a streamlined, racy white, despite its lush, waxy texture. Full-bodied and loaded with white peach, lanolin, brioche, orange blossom and almond flavors. Long and powerful on the finish; with fine detail already, this should only get better.

James Laube, Wine Spectator.

Aromas of acacia flowers, honeysuckle, and citrus were followed by a medium to full-bodied white with loads of glycerin as well as heady fruit and alcohol. Elegant, medium to full-bodied.

Robert Parker, Wine Advocate.

Pure, subtle aromas of yellow plum, spices, flowers and nutty oak. At once sweet and gripping, with a glyceral middle given shape by flavors of lemon skin and spices. Very subtle and very long, finishing with terrific backbone.

Stephen Tanzer, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar.

Orange peel, bergamot, herbs, lavender and a toffee/caramel note on the palate. Sheer joy, and as usual, not an ounce of fat on display.
