A medium ruby-purple color and broody scents of spiced cranberry sauce, baked blackberries, prosciutto, bergamot and saline. The palate is medium-bodied with slowly expanding fruits accented by loads of inherent spiciness and a mineral streak. It has a grainy frame and great freshness, finishing very long. Lovely!

Discreet wisps of menthol sit atop the ripe aromas of poached plum and dark Pinot fruit where a background hint of humus can be discerned. The delicious, round and solidly voluminous flavors possess a relatively rich, even plush, mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the bitter pit fruit inflected finish where a hint of warmth slowly emerges. Outstanding.
