TASTING NOTES
A clean, pure bouquet of perfumed black cherries, wild strawberry, blood orange and brown spice aromas that gain intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity and gentle grip. Fine.
Neal Martin, Vinous.
Once again moderate wood and menthol influences can be found on the liqueur-like aromas of both red and dark raspberry that are trimmed in subtle earth and spice whiffs. There is very good verve to the well-delineated and lightly stony flavors that exhibit fine length on the firm and youthfully austere finale.
Allen Meadows, Burghound.
Performing nicely from bottle, offering up a rich bouquet of blackberries, smoked meats, plums, spices and violets, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and lavish, with a generous core of sun-kissed, almost opulent fruit that's framed by succulent acids and powdery tannins.
William Kelley, Wine Advocate.
