TASTING NOTES

This wine, which was impressive from cask, continues to prove that it is one of the finest wines of the vintage. It exhibits a dark ruby color, a spicy, cedary, black-cherry and curranty-scented nose, rich, medium-bodied flavors with excellent ripeness, a sense of elegance, and a succulent, juicy personality. The wine reveals no signs of dilution, and the tannin is sweet rather than hard and astringent.
Robert Parker, Jr., Wine Advocate.
Burgundy red, light intensity, slightly evolved on the bangs. Net. Pretty late. Fruity and woody nuances well associated. Fruit on a caramel background. Linear and fluid attack developing on a light structure that marks a hollow in the middle of the mouth and evolves on a slightly bitter wooded note.

Jean-Marc Quarin.
