A discreet application of wood sets off more deeply pitched aromas that include those of violet, earth, black cherry and a hint of raspberry. The supple but attractively vibrant middle weight flavors possess a caressing mid-palate mouthfeel, all wrapped in a delicious if not especially complex finish. This is obviously still very young but it's going to have to develop a good deal more depth for it to ascend to the next level though it's not obvious that there is sufficient underlying material for that to occur.
