Subtle but not invisible wood sets off airy and cool aromas of both red and dark currant, spice and plenty of earth and floral elements. There is again excellent volume to the tautly muscular yet sleek medium weight flavors that deliver even better complexity on the balanced, firm and sneaky long finish. This is another wine to consider as it's lovely and built-to-reward a decade plus of aging.
