TASTING NOTES

A well-defined bouquet showing white flower/dandelion, golden delicious apple and light honeysuckle aromas that gently unfold in the glass. The palate is well balanced.  There is a touch of textural creaminess, and suggestions of stem ginger toward a finish.

Neil Martin, Vinous.

Whiffs of petrol and quinine on the citrusy aromas of mostly white fleshed fruit. There is excellent density to the almost thick and unctuous full-bodied flavors that brim with sappy dry extract that buffers the lemon-tinged acidity supporting the stony finale that flashes excellent length.

Allen Meadows, Burghound.

Aromas of pear and orange oil with hints of white flowers and fresh bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise, it's elegantly exotic, with a perfumed, charming profile.  Supple, charming and expressive.

William Kelley, Wine Advocate.

Lemon with a lime tint, showing a touch of reduction which blows off immediately. Whites from both sides. More character here from the nose onwards, builds several layers, clearly merits its 1er cru status. Volume of fruit but with an engaging energy. Layers of flavour here, enough acidity, well done.

Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy.
