There is a bit more of everything with simply beautiful complexity and splendid depth with seemingly endless amounts of sappy, sweet extract and an understated, long, textured and detailed finish. This is not as edgy as the Caillerets and while there is a clear mineral component to this as well, the Ruchottes is rounder and displays brilliant balance between power yet no lack of finesse. This too is most impressive.
