TASTING NOTES

There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of passion fruit present on the acacia blossom and citrus peel-inflected nose. There is again very good volume as well as a relatively sophisticated mouthfeel to the middle weight flavors where the seductive and lingering finish is supported by a moderately firm acid spine. This is an excellent Puligny villages and recommended. Burghound Outstanding Value!!

Allen Meadows, Burghound.

Bursts with aromas of pear, peach, warm pastry and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny palate that's a lively and nicely balanced example of Carillon's fleshy, enveloping style.

William Kelley, Wine Advocate.

Beautifully balanced, textbook stuff, carrying a certain amount of new oak but carrying it well. The finish is very classy, a lovely point of refreshing mineral acidity, while the fruit returns to close out the finish."

Jaspar Morris, Inside Burgundy.
