Offers up lovely aromas of rose petals, spices, raw cocoa, sweet berry fruit and cassis. Medium to full-bodied, rich and muscular, with lively acids and ample reserves of powdery tannin.

A cool, pure if very restrained nose features a pretty mix of red and dark currant and earth nuances that are trimmed in just enough menthol and wood toast to mention. There is again very fine volume to the sappy, rich and powerful medium-bodied flavors that, much like the Frémiets, remain relatively refined before culminating in a dusty, saline and beautifully persistent finish. This is lovely.
