TASTING NOTES

A notable success, unfurls in the glass with notes of white currant, mint, spring flowers, citrus zest, drawn butter and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with fine concentration, racy acids and chalky structuring extract, it's one of the high points of the range. The 2020 vintage has turned out beautifully at this address, delivering concentrated, flavorful wines. In 2021, Jadot entered into organic conversion for their domaine vineyards.

William Kelley, Wine Advocate.

A step up in terms of precision and mineralité compared with the Meursault-Charmes. The palate is vibrant and well-balanced, quite tensile, touches of bitter lemon mixed with ginger and hazelnut, leading to a long and harmonious finish. This is recommended.

Neal Martin, Vinous.

A naturally exotic nose features cool and ultra-pure aromas of jasmine tea, carnation, rose petal and fresh essence of pear. The finer if slightly less concentrated middle weight flavors exude an appealing bead of minerality on the beautifully persistent and well-balanced finale. This very dry but not really austere effort should also amply repay extended cellaring. Burghound Outstanding!

Allen Meadows, Burghound.

Clear bright lemon yellow. The bouquet is a little more complex than the Charmes. While there is a certain oakiness up front, this really kicks on across the second half of the palate and there is a suggestion of a future development of the lees all supported by a refreshing, tingling mineral note. Excellent persistence.

Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy.
