A mildly exotic array reflects notes of white orchard fruit laced with both white peach and barely perceptible viognier nuances that are also trimmed in just enough wood to merit mentioning. There is good power and punch to the seductively textured middle weight plus flavors that coating the palate with sappy extract on the firm, serious and tightly wound finale. Much like the Corton-Charlemagne, this is more a Bâtard of refinement than muscle that should also age gracefully for years.
