Bottle Size: 750 ml
The 2011 Pinot Noir West Block is pure structure. A powerful, tannic wine, the 2011 is going to require quite a bit of patience. It has impressive length and persistence, but this is another wine that desperately needs time in bottle. Still, there is a lot to like about the wine’s textural elegance and depth. The fruit is so rich, the 80% French oak isn’t even notable. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025.
